This is 1 of my favourite Larry Coryell albums. Dangerously roughly soft jazz this is an album amongst the Brubeck brothers that is irresistably energetic. There is then much passion too joy inward this too Larry's trademark chunky audio together amongst technical playing which is clearly past times a human dorsum at the top of his shape makes this a must buy. In my sentiment Larry is e'er stronger when he avoids also much technical pyrotecnics too simply burns from the heart. The melodious nature of the tunes agency that Larry has a platform from which he effortlessly churns out singing, soulful too inspirational solos side later side. And the sidemen aren't one-half bad either. Influenza A virus subtype H5N1 shortish recording but each too every vocal is a gem...what to a greater extent than could you lot want?
I commencement met the Larry Coryell/Brubeck Brothers ring on a rare, direct-to-disk recording ("Better than Live") that would give-up the ghost my all-time favourite musical moment. And it even then is. So I spent a few years looking for some other collaboration, fifty-fifty asked Larry himself(!) until I institute this one. Although there's non equally much magic inward "Return" than inward "Better than Live", the onetime even then deserves the best appreciation. Larry has the Magic Touch. He is the Divine Guitar, too the he too the Brubeck Brothers are the best of the late-70s Jazz-Rock bands.
